I’m not sure if I have to wait for this feature to unlock or not…
Whenever I try to add a new app drawer it does nothing but I can add a new drawer by adding a bookmark to homescreen through chrome, then I can edit that drawer and make it work for me… 
Goto Ratio setting and restart ratio, it will work after that, I just installed it 1 hour ago and faced the same issue, seems like, most of the glitches are fixed after restart.
I’ve been trying it since yesterday and the only thing I didn’t do was restart ratio…

i was about to uninstall it within hour after seeing so many glitches, while in menu to uninstall luckily i saw restart button and clicked it for no reason
